The Dulbecco Telethon Institute International Postdoctoral Programme, DTI-IMPORT

The Dulbecco Telethon Institute International Mobility for Postdoctoral Research Training (DTI-IMPORT) is intended to provide an excellent training to experienced researchers in Biomedical Sciences and, at the same time, enhance the internationalization in the Dulbecco Telethon Institute (DTI).

Consequently, the aim of the DTI-IMPORT is to recruit highly skilled "incoming" or "reintegrating" experienced researchers and create the most favorable conditions to foster their scientific productivity.

The first call is open from the 10th January 2013 to the 10th March 2013.

A second and possibly a third call will follow shortly after completion of the first.

The DTI laboratories that open a position in the first call are indicated with the yellow symbol “POSTDOC POSITION OPEN”.

Duration

Postdoctoral positions duration: three years, with the possibility to reduce it to two. Candidates should start within 6/8 months from their acceptance of the position. At the completion of the third year, additional years of salary might be provided by the host lab if further work to complete the studies is required (subject to negotiation with the host lab).

Salary

The Dulbecco Telethon Institute (DTI) grants postdoctoral scientists a salary plus allowances as well as costs relative to participation in national and international scientific meetings as well as practical courses, in agreement with the PI. The gross salary plus allowances contributed to a fellow that relocates to Italy without his/her family amounts to € 29520 while the gross salary plus allowances contributed to a fellow that relocates to Italy with his/her family amounts to € 32000.
